Fall in Western New York

One of the best times of the year for photography in Western New York is, without a doubt, the fall. For photos, the fall comes and goes pretty quickly, requiring some advance planning. The day I went out was overcast, and I didn't think it was going to result in very good photos. But an overcast day, with an ocassional sighting of the sun, can work to your advantage.

Even though it was past peak, I headed out to Letchworth State Park, one of my favorite places in New York, to see what the color was like; some of the photos from my shoot are at the bottom of this blog. To really cover Letchworth, two or three days would be ideal and would allow you to move at a comfortable pace and take in all that this park has to offer. I never get tired of taking pictures here.

Scott, I love your pictures. You captured the true beauty in each shot. Congratulations!

Good web site! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I've subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day! kcfgcbdkbfbe
