Amanda and Josh chose Bristol Harbour Resort, overlooking Canandaigua Lake, for their wedding ceremony and reception. This was wedding extraordinaire with a lot of laughs and cherished memories that made for a spectacular day. Josh and Amanda met several years ago from their mutual interest in hockey, and hockey also took center stage on their wedding day. Amanda is a Buffalo Sabres fan and Josh is a fan of the New Jersey Devils. When I shot their engagement photos in September, we used jerseys from their two favorite teams in many of the shots we took.

Every year on Katie's birthdays I fondly say to her, "Katie, I remember the day you were born." And, every year she rolls her eyes at me and smiles. Katie is the first-born of my neices and nephews, and she will forever hold a very special place in my heart. So, you can imagine that this was a wedding I have looked forward to shooting since "the day she was born."
My nephew, Stephen, and his fiance, Catherine, were married on October 20, 2012. There's nothing better than a family wedding, and I was very proud to be their official photographer! Stephen and Catherine were married at the Immaculate Conception Church in East Aurora and the reception was held in downtown Buffalo. Stephen is the son of my wife's sister, Mary Jo, and her husband, Paul. Stephen was raised in East Auora, and Catherine, whose parents are from Sri Lanka, was raised in Toronto. The couple are both in their medical residency programs at hospitals in Buffalo.
For full time photographers, a three wedding weekend--a triple play--might be typical, but for me, it was a first. The last weekend in August 2012, I worked with Sam and Anton, Nicolette and Matt, and Emily and Waseem--three awesome couples who were a lot of fun to work with and who each had very memorable wedding days. Some of their photos are at the bottom of this blog, and you can view the whole set of each of their weddings in the "Clients" section of my site.
